About

Having recently turned to a full-time art practice, I look to build intimate connections with the natural world. Specialising in oils, I create painted canvas windows where we can be still with nature. Within these panes, I seek to capture ephemeral moments of light through the practice of multiple glazes, velatura and scumbling. Through paint, I speak of the inumerable and beautiful ways our environment quietly cares for us.

Now exhibiting in three Australian galleries, I aim to advance societal appreciation for the beauty of Australia’s landscapes and our shared future.

About

In much the same way as our ocean connects us all, Jane connects to people through the visual panes of her paintings

‘When I create a painting there is an intimacy, an affection’ for the subject I am putting down on the canvas.’

‘I aim to pull the audience into each of my artworks, to share this brief, intimate moment and elicit an emotional response.’
